Pedal-with-Pete is possible because of our volunteers’ dedication to increase public awareness of and raise funds for research. Most volunteer roles involve preparation of the events and logistics on ride day. Volunteer opportunities are available with varying levels of commitment. Your time investment can be as little as four hours on ride day or you can make a longer term commitment to the local planning team.  Planning positions currently open include the following:
Ride Chair
- Chair and coordinate volunteer meetings
- Attend board meetings
- Coordinate all scheduling, fund raising, PR, and operational activities
- Coordinate ride day staging and setup
Publicity Director
- Write and submit press releases
- Submit ride date information to cycling web sites
- Work with Pelotonia, Bike Source, Consider Biking and other bike groups
- Coordinate Facebook page
- Work closely with PWP web site developer
- Coordinate yard signs
Cycling Support Director
- Coordinate SAG team
- Coordinate route marking
- Coordinate route design and Map construction
Art and SWAG Coordinator
