The Pedal-with-Pete, Kent Event is on Saturday, June 9, 2012. The start/finish is at Faith Lutheran Church, 931 East Main Street. Registration is from 7-9:30am. The 17-mile, 40-mile, and 60-mile bike routes will travel on the Hike and Bike Trail and continue through neighboring communities including Silver Lake, Stow, Streetsboro, Hudson, Boston Heights, Munroe Falls, Brimfield, and Ravenna Township. The Family-friendly 2-mile and 6-mile Hike and Bike routes go through the campus of Kent State University. Light refreshments and water will be available at rest areas along all routes. This is a full service ride including bike tuneup, route maps, roads marked with arrows, SAG, door prizes, bike raffle and there will be also be entertainment and massages.
