Determined to show that handicaps are not always limiting, Pete Zeidner, dealing with serious case of cerebral palsy, rode a recumbent bicycle with joy and purpose. Pete started the Pedal-with-Pete Foundation in 1993 with the goal to raise $1,000,000 for cerebral palsy (CP) research. Under his leadership, we reached that goal in 2015! We are now at $1million and counting for CP research. Pete’s perseverance and that of many others with CP inspire our efforts! Read more.

We are going to order 1000 T-shirts in a wide variety of sizes (all the way from XS to XXXL) in Youth, Women, and Men Sizes on July 2nd. With all those sizes, we can get you YOUR perfect fit if you reserve YOUR shirt in YOUR size! PRE-REGISTER NOW and we'll get you a perfect fit! If you pre-register after July 1st, or register on the day-of-event, you will still very likely get a great T-shirt, and it could very well fit you, but no guarantees. Make Sense? Join Us! We are so very sorry to share with you in sorrow over the loss of our colleague, friend, fellow volunteer, and a leader in our community, Bill Gordon. Bill died on Saturday, June 11. He was on a bicycling ride, and he had a heart attack. Friends and EMT personnel tried to revive him, to no avail. Arrangements for the calling hours on Friday and memorial service on Saturday can be found in Bill’s obituary, found here: http://www.rutherfordfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/William-J-Gordon/ Roy Burnham set up a Go-Fund-Me site for a park bench in front of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church at 36 and Hodges Rd in Delaware, Ohio. This church was very kind to the riding group that Bill and Roy were part of... setting out coolers of drinks for them so that they could have a rest stop on their regular loop-ride. The excess of funds raised will go to charities that Bill supported, including Pedal-with-Pete. He was a do-er, a thinker, an advisor, and an encourager for our team. Bill had a long-term presence in the Columbus cycling community and recently took over leadership of TOSRV and other big events for Columbus Outdoor Pursuits. Bill was a gentleman, a friend, and a very can-do sort of person. Bill had a gift in relating to people with a soft, relaxed manner that made you feel part of the team. He leaves a huge void. Please keep Bill's family and many, many friends and huge community in your thoughts and prayers.Posted - a year ago
